PRIVATE YOGA INSTRUCTION, DESIGNED TO MEET YOUR BODY’S UNIQUE NEEDS

It’s official, I have opened a private studio for yoga and physical training on The Mesa in Santa Barbara! The space is geared towards individuals who want to strengthen, align, and balance their yoga practice, as well as towards folks who want to get into training, injury prevention, and overall wellness.

I teach a broad spectrum of yoga and movement, ranging from iyengar styled relaxation, to a more advanced Hatha practice. The focus is on body and mind alignment, and managing one’s physical self in space. Private yoga training is terrific for those who are just starting out and intimidated by the thought of joining a large class.

Based on your body’s needs, I develop personalized yoga sequences for each client. These personalized yoga sequences will organize your anatomy so that you increase your flexibility, balance, and stamina. This is not a traditional yoga practice. This is a sequence of movements pulled from martial arts, somatics, gymnastics, and sport training, all blended together to help restore spring and tensegrity into your body.

First time consultations are complimentary! It allows me to take a thorough look at where your joints are, and where we need to move them in order to increase your functionality and overall wellbeing. Train Rugged is the only personal training, bodywork, and yoga space on The Mesa. We offer performance and rehabilitative services in private and small group settings.
